Our Roots Run Deep
The Phillips Tree Service name may be newer, but our roots in Ithaca-area tree care go back more than six decades.
Our story reaches back to longtime Ithaca “Tree "Surgeon” John Ewanicki, General Tree Service and later General Arborists Inc. Otis' father spent years working alongside John, learning the trade firsthand, and later took over General Arborists in 1992s.
That knowledge was passed down again when Otis learned the business working alongside his father.
Today, Otis and his wife own and operate Phillips Tree Service while raising three young children and continuing to build a family business they can be proud of.
The name changed. The roots didn't. And we're still growing.
